A memorial celebration of life for Mrs. Loretta Faye “Rita” Yeldell will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Bonne Idee Assembly of God Church in Mer Rouge, LA at 11 AM with Bro. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Mrs. Rita was born to Herman and Lottie Mae Stephens in Oak Grove, LA on November 13, 1943. She entered her heavenly home on March 12, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kent Stephens; nephew, Jason Ferrell; and most recently by her sister, Sandra Garrett. Mrs. Rita is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Donald Yeldell; her daughter, Tonia Perry and husband James; her son, Terry Andrews and wife Trena; and her daughter, Renee Jimenez; sisters, Shirley Montgomery and husband Fred; and Lynn Montemarano. She was a beloved grandmother to Chase Johnston, Jake Andrews and wife Hannah, Tristen Jimenez, Kennedy Jimenez, Mason Jimenez, Blake Johnston, and Holly Stover; as well as numerous great grandchildren. Mrs. Rita shared a close bond with her neices and nephews; Angela Montgomery McKelvey, Sheila McGowen and husband Ron, Lori Hollis, Kay Barthol and husband Rick, Mitch Stephens and wife Sherry, Nancy Madok and husband John, Amy Montemarano, Nina Bonneville and husband Brandon, Joseph Montemarano and wife Tasha, Chad Yeldell and wife Emily, Brad Yeldell and wife Stacey, Whit Yeldell and Karen Nolan. She graduated from Bastrop High School and went on to Louisiana Business College. She owned and operated several businesses in Bastrop and was a successful Real Estate Agent for Century 21 and was also a long time member of Bonne Idee Assembly of God Church. She had a quick wit, a loving heart and a tremendous faith in God. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. The family would like to thank Premier Hospice, Dustin McGowen, and all of the wonderful nurses that assisted mother during her Hospice Care.
