Obituary of William Lee Chappell

Funeral services for Mr. William Lee Chappell are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Steve Dooley officiating. Mr. Chappell passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age of sixty-five. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mr. Chappell loved playing golf with his brothers and friends. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family, especially with his daughter, Crystal. He is survived by his children, Kerensa Halbrook, Corey Chappell and wife Megan, Casey Chappell and wife Brandi and Crystal Chappell; siblings, Jamie Chappell and wife Deborah, Frankie Chappell, Melvin Chappell, Eugenia Reynolds and husband Eugene, Juanita Chappell and Edward “Curly” Chappell; grandchildren, Ashton Chappell, Carter Chappell, Ethan and Aiden Taylor, Lee Chappell, Dax Cole, Wyatt Chappell, Montana Chappell; three great grandchildren; the mother of his children, Rita LeBrun; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Chappell is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Maedene Chappell. Serving the family as honorary pallbearers will be Todd Shipman, Jeff Sanders, David Bargeron, Ted Grimes, Chris Brisco, and Eddie Moore. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 6 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
