Oh, how I loved Aunt Mattie! She was always so much fun and such a joyful person. I am sad for those of us who will miss her but I know she is so happy with the Lord and so many faithful friends and loved ones!! I have so many good memories of us visiting your family in Kentucky, Michigan and Pennsylvania. I remember Aunt Mattie and my mom arm-in-arm skipping in front of the Kentucky capital. Your mobility allowed my family a peek into the world which helped us know we could move from family and yet, remain FAMILY!! Thanks for so many wonderful memories and for being such good examples to us! I love each of you….Uncle Quenton, Dennis, Janiece and Jeanette! Embrace this day and celebrate her life and love!

Rest In eternal peace Grandma. You are loved and will be missed by so many family and friends. You lived an amazing life and I know God had the most beautiful eternal home waiting for you when you arrived! I’m so glad you’re reunited with Uncle Don and the rest of your loved ones who were there waiting on your arrival. I’m so honored to have named my only daughter after you! We love you and will see you again.

Oh my! Mattie, our dear dear Mattie has made it HOME Loved, loved Mattie, such a fine Christian woman, so gracious, a prayer warrior. Her place is prepared by her Master! No doubt a mansion filled with treasures was waiting when she arrived. But Jesus first on her mind. I love you Mattie, wished I could have said bye! Jeanette and family prayers , precious memories in abundance to comfort your hearts.

Quenton & family. I want you to know that my thoughts & prayers are with you. I remember how excited my Mother was when she learned that you & Mattie were moving across the street from us, We all moved from one side of town to the other. Mattie was a sweet person and will be missed by so many. My prayers & thoughts are with you in the months to come. Martha Ann

I am so sorry about the passing of Ms. Mattie. One of the very best prayer warriors has gone home to be with Jesus. What a time of rejoicing is taking place in heaven. I love you Ms. Mattie. Katherine

Mattie was a wonderful witness for God during her lifetime. I appreciated her friendship and encouragement to me. My prayers are with Quentin and Faye, as well as the rest of the family, as you adjust to her new residence and “graduation” to her eternal reward!
