Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Woodall Bacle are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Casey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until service time at the church. Mrs. Bacle, a resident of Bastrop, LA, and member of Bonita Road Baptist Church, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the age of seventy-nine. Mrs. Bacle worked for many years at Bastrop Super Foods. In her retirement, she spent many of her days completing word search puzzles and fishing on Lake Lafourche with her husband, Floyd. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, both in-person and on the telephone. Mrs. Bacle is survived by her husband of ten years, Floyd Bacle; sister, Shirlee Porter; sister-in-law, Mary Montgomery; children, Alice Baker, and husband Mike, William “Billy” McMullan II and wife Diane Laing McMullan, and Melvin W. McMullan; stepchildren, Paula Shigo, Randy Bacle, and Kenny Bacle; grandchildren, Jennifer Baker Bridges, Jonathan Baker, Jessica Baker Cote, Brandon McDonald, Becky McMullan Henderson, Amber McMullan Olden, Kevin McMullan, Eric Bacle, Sarah Bacle Owens, Alex Shigo, Ellie Shigo, and a very special nephew, John Montgomery, Jr., as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, a great-niece and a great-nephew. Mrs. Bacle is preceded in death by her previous husband of thirty-five years, Billy Mack Woodall; parents, Melvin and Belvy Marie Montgomery; brother, John W. Montgomery; grandson, Brett Duplissey, Jr; and niece, Wanda Kay Montgomery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Matthew Dane Pullen, Joseph Pullen, Barry Joiner, Tommy Eldridge, Troy McLarrin, and Jeff Philley. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jonathan Baker, Brandon McDonald, and John Montgomery, Jr.
