Funeral services for Mr. Dex Bently “Redbone” White are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Dusty Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. White, a member of First Assembly of God, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the age of seventy-three. He was retired from KCS Railroad and served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. White loved his family, his church, and his community. Family was everything to him and he would try his best to help anyone he could. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Pamela White; daughters, Delories Clark and husband James, Jr, Denise Hales and husband Ronnie, Zoey Jean White; sons, Thomas Douglas White, Collice White and wife Misty; sister, Dana Ingram and husband Bob; brothers, Jexie White, Rex White and wife Carmelita; grandchildren, Cody Clark, Jesse Clark, Cody Pennington, Victoria Smith, Amber Smith, Ryan Jeffrey, Savanah White, Tori Sims, Terrence Sweeney, Matthew Smith, Andrew Smith; four great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents, Collice and Naomi Jean White; and sister, Quana Murphy. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Collice White, Denise Hales, Thomas White, Ryan Jeffrey, James Clark, Jr, and Terrence Sweeney. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 10 AM- 11 AM service time at Golden Funeral Home.
