Service for John Earl Hall, 75, of Arcadia, Louisiana will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Epps Cemetery in Epps, Louisiana. Service will be attended by friends and family of Mr. Hall. Service will be graveside only. Mr. Hall was born May 10, 1946 in Delhi, Louisiana. He grew up on the family farm until leaving home early in his teens. He was drafted and served as an E5 Specialist in the Army during the American conflict in Vietnam being honorably discharged and awarded for his service. Mr. Hall worked in many skilled professions throughout his life. He had been a mechanic, sawmill foreman, owned and operated a welding business, and was proudly self-employed for years as a talented general contractor painting, roofing, plumbing, flooring, cutting trees, and more. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, and helping others. Following a years long fight with lung cancer, Mr. Hall passed away peacefully in his recliner next to his son, Kevin on June 5, 2021 at around 5:30 p.m. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his wife: Misty Mechelle Willis Hall; Parents: Elias Daniel Hall and Wilma Elizabeth Stout Hall; His siblings: George Leon Hall, Henry Hall, Ernie Hall, Ken Hall, Wanda Hall, Sherry Rhoades, Elizabeth Rippy, Doris Brewer. Mr. Hall is survived by his children: Robert Hall (Tami) of Belleview, Illinois; Kimberly Felton (Paul) of McMinnville, Tennessee; Tonia Coddens of South Bend, Indiana; John "Dusty" Hall of Houston, Texas; Kevin Timothy Hall (Kelsey Cobb) of Arcadia, Louisiana; Heather Shannon Hall of Jonesboro, Louisiana. His grandchildren: Hailey Michelle Hall, Brody Westin Hall, Mechelle Faye Malmay, Lucas Felton, Levi Felton, Corban Felton, and Corey Hall. His siblings: Lillie Brewer (Herbert) of Waynesboro, Tennessee; Barry Hall of West Hampton, New Jersey; Mike Hall and Edward Hall (Maggie) of Epps, Louisiana; Kay McMillan (Wayne) of Sterlington, Louisiana; Fay Holloway of Calhoun, Louisiana. He will be missed and his memory cherished forever by those who knew him.
