Funeral services for Stacey L. Thames are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, July 1, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Fowler and Bro. Jimbo Hayes officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 PM - 2 PM service time at Goldens.
Mr. Thames, a carpenter, passed away at his home Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of fifty-two. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his mother. He enjoyed working in his yard and going fishing. Anyone that knew him would tell you he was a hard worker. Stacey enjoyed working and being there for others.
He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Sweet and husband Harvey; the mother of his children, Angela Thames; children, Jacob Thames and wife Laura, Karrie Thames and fiance' Casey Young, and Leah Thames; brothers, Nick Thames and wife Mitsy, and Jack Brent Thames; grandchildren, Emma Thames, Brennan Thames, Alexander Thames, Jessica Stanfill, Luke Stanfill, and Cage Stanfill; niece, Ciara Boudloche and husband Lloyd; nephews, Cameron Thames, Collin Thames, and Micah Young; great niece, Ember Rae Boudloche; and great nephew, Kai Thames.
Mr. Thames is preceded in death by his father, Freddie Thames; and grandparents, Pat and Lorene DeVille.
