Funeral services for Ms. Margaret E. Humphrey are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, July 5, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Linson officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time at Goldens.
Margaret, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at the age of forty-six. She was full of life and had a special love for children. Margaret enjoyed spending time with children, for she herself, was like a kid at heart - having a fun, loving, and kind spirit. She had a huge heart, was loud, and never met a stranger. Margaret was always the one telling jokes, keeping everyone around her laughing. She will be so dearly missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Margaret is preceded in death by her father, James Humphrey; sister, Anna Humphrey; uncle and aunt, Jack and Laverne Grant; and aunt, Grace Martyniuk.
She is survived by her mother, Judy Humphrey; sister, Jamie Humphrey; brothers, James Humphrey and wife Holly, Jason Humphrey and wife Nancy; nieces, Haley Humphrey, Emery Humphrey; nephews, Brayden Humphrey, Eli Humphrey; and numerous cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Coleman Stover, J.E. Wood, Clif Liner, Stan Liner, Noah Spillers, and Will Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Liner, Phil Edwards, Robby Patrick, Michael Stamper, Shane Wells, and Zachary Harrell.
