Graveside services for Mr. Cleatis Hemphill are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Casey Johnson officiating.
Mr. Hemphill, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the age of seventy-one. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and retired as Parts Manager from NAPA Auto Parts. Mr. Hemphill loved watching western shows and enjoyed his work at the NAPA store.
He is survived by his daughters, Rachel Trichell and husband Damon of Selvin, IN, Kimberly Dawn DeBlieux and husband Kevin of Monroe, LA; sisters, Glenda DeMoss of Monroe, LA, Linda “Susie” Cordova and husband Jessie of Siloam Springs, AR; brothers, Alfred Hemphill and wife Jerry of Jonesboro, LA, J.R. Hemphill and wife Joyce of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Alexus DeBlieux, Camilla DeBlieux, Seanna Golden, Skylar Golden, Lydia Trichell, Aaron Trichell; great-grandchildren, Rider Montgomery, Lucas McIntosh and Liam Taylor.
Mr. Hemphill is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Doris Hemphill; and brother, Verlin Hemphill.
