Obituary of Tara Elizabeth Hawkins Conley

Tara Elizabeth Hawkins Conley went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the tender age of thirty-eight. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, August 6, 2021, at First Baptist Church, with Bro. Richard Gambill and Bro. Greg Hawkins officiating. A private interment will be held later in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM. Tara was a loving mother and a devoted daughter and sister, who loved her family and friends. Her smile could light up a room and her joy was contagious to those around her. She never hung up the phone or walked away without saying “love you.” Tara is survived by her parents, Terrell and Sara Hawkins; son, Reed Solomon Conley; sister, Tricia Jowell and husband Chris; niece, Sadie Maye Jowell; nephews, Jackson Rex Jowell, Walker Rex Jowell; aunt, Pat Carlisle; uncle, Dan Solomon; cousins, Amber Richardson and husband Steven, Clay Carlisle and wife Jessica, along with their beloved children. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Beatrice Hawkins and Cleo and Dot Solomon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the place where Tara first met Jesus Christ, and a place very near to the family's heart, King's Camp, P.O. Box 335, Mer Rouge, LA 71261.
