Obituary of Tony R. Aulds, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. Tony R. Aulds, Sr., are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Lonadier and Bro. Francis Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon. Mr. Aulds, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the age of seventy-five. He retired from the Automotive Business and was a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church. Mr. Aulds was known as being the entertainer of the family. He was an amazing musician, playing for the American Legion and the local nursing homes. Mr. Aulds had the ability to fix anything, even computers. He also served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Aulds is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Nancy Aulds; daughter, Dana Eppinette and husband Audie; son, Tony Aulds, II and wife Felicia; sister, Diane Bonner; brother, Edward “Butch” Aulds and wife Patty; grandchildren, Lacey Aulds, Hazel Aulds, Britney Hocutt and husband Alex, Rory Carpenter, Jr. and wife Miranda McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Brycen Carpenter, Emma Carpenter, Elizabeth Hocutt; and furbabies, Koo Koo and Moo Moo. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Mallie Aulds; and grandson, Zachery Tyler Carpenter.
