I am horribly saddened to hear about Jackie’s death. I formed a friendship with her when I was volunteering at St. Tammany Hospice. Whenever she would come to the copy machine in the front office, we would talk. I tried to encourage her when she was going to have her knee replacement as I have had both of mine replaced. We kept in touch even after she moved to Many. I offer my sincerest condolences to her family and I know she will be missed by many. May she rest in peace…

Many of my memories with Jackie & Terry are of times of celebrations beginning with Sarah & Eric’s rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception. I’m grateful for the role Jackie had as Eric’s momma for he is a wonderful husband and father to my daughter and their sons Ezra and Theo. I believe family is one of God’s greatest gifts!

As extended family (Sarah’s brother), I didn’t know Jackie well, but I saw her several times over the years. The moments that I remember were all happy ones. She had a lot of love for her family, and she certainly wasn’t going to hide that love under a bushel. Whenever I happened to find Jackie and Terry visiting their grandkids, Jackie always had a moment to welcome you with a friendly greeting, like she wanted you to share in that overflow of happiness. She will be missed even by those who didn’t get to know her well.

My heartfelt condolence goes to the family of Jackie. My late husband was a close friend of her brother. Maxine and Jack were friends of his family. Am so sorry to hear of this. Whenever talking to Maxine she said "God is in Control" and I hope that is a reassurance to the family.

I have Years of fond memories of Jackie. As a father in law she treated me with love and kindness, always met me with a smile and a hug. She and I had many nice conversations usually about her two grandchildren whom were extremely precious to her. She would sit and show me the hundreds of their pictures in her phone. I loved you Jackie and still love you. So thankful you was my daughter in law and will always cherish the wonderful times with you. Sweetheart keep smiling for I know your soul is in heaven with your Lord, mother and father singing around the great throne. My hope is I'm in that great number and will someday meet you in heaven. May God bless Terry, Eric and family to get through these difficult time.

Jackie and Terry were our neighbors and moved away a few months ago. Jackie was a faith-filled wife, mother, sister and friend who was a gift from God to every one who knew her. Her ever-present smile was inviting and beautiful as soon as you met her. Her soul was kind and gentle. Jackie will be missed.
