Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Mary Sue Taylor Yarbrough are scheduled for 10 AM Monday, August 23, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Henry Stone officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Yarbrough, a retired employee from South Central Bell and member of First Baptist Church, Bastrop, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Yarbrough was the epitome of a true southern lady and always carried herself with character, dignity, and grace. Hers was a beautiful life, well-lived. To know her was to love her and Heaven is a sweeter place now that she is there.
She is survived by her sons, Ray Austin Yarbrough, Jr., Dr. David Arthur Yarbrough and wife Hallie; grandchildren, Anna Claire Yarbrough Walters and husband Bryce, William Arthur Yarbrough, and Piper Celeste Yarbrough.
Mrs. Yarbrough is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Ray Austin Yarbrough, Sr.; and parents, Edell and Clara Taylor.
The family would like to say a special “Thank you” to her caregivers, Loreen Robinson, Bonnie Brown, and Jeanette Horton.
