Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Christmas Pettis are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, August 29, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Britt Dupree and Bro. Phillip McCready officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Pettis, a retiree of Kraftman Federal Credit Union, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the age of sixty-eight. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life revolved around her family. Mrs. Pettis loved her Lord and was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald “Runt” Pettis; daughters, Tiffney Rome and husband Scott, and Jessica Newton and husband Todd; sisters, Mary Christmas Bryan and Faye Christmas Frost and husband Jack; grandchildren, Bailey Nicole Rome, Riley Newton, and Emma Newton.
Mrs. Pettis is preceded in death by her parents, C.V. and Syble Christmas, and special brother-in-law, Troy Bryan.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Matt Spikes, Perry Wilson, Chris Christmas, William Fuller, Chris Allen, and Kurt May.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Legg, Robert Hawkins, and Joe Wilson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 1 PM - 2 PM service time at Goldens.
