Graveside Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Herring Doke, age 71, will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 at Gunter Cemetery, Mer Rouge, LA, with Bro. Jerry Reynolds officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2 PM at the cemetery.
Mrs. Doke passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was a devout Christian who was always ready to go to church. Mrs. Doke is preceded in death by her father; and six siblings.
Mrs. Doke is survived by her husband of fifty three years, Richard L. Doke; mother, Emma Faye Herring; children, Wanda Streeter, William L. Doke, Cathy White and husband Anthony; siblings, Thomas Herring, Mary Emanuel, Carolyn, Rita Reynolds, Debbie Herring; grandchildren, Danielle, Carl Jr., Rachel, Rose, Maranda, John Michael, Jaynnie, Brandon, Makayla; and a host of great grandchildren.
