Obituary of Judith Hale Thompson

Funeral services for Judith “Nana” Hale Thompson are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, August 28, 2021 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Brother Tim Post officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM Saturday. Mrs. Thompson, a resident of Bastrop, LA, and a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the age of seventy-one. She loved being outside, flower gardening and watching hummingbirds. She also enjoyed cooking, baking pies, and trivia. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Bobby Thompson; daughter, Holly Selena Myers; sisters, Maxine Case, Etta Lee; grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Shelby Johnson, Chandler Jones Kidd, Seth Myers, Savina Afonso, Merle Vigil, Miles Thompson, Micah Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Olivia DeFee, Korbyn Brown, Quentin Burgess, Mari Afonso, Jagger Vigil, Ryan "Kim" Vigil, Evelyn Vigil, and Memphis Thompson. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kymberly Johnson; and a step-son, Mickey Thompson. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Myers, Trevor Jones, Joe Kidd, Gregory Jones, Michael Myers, J.R. Vigil, Miles Thompson, and Micah Thompson.
