Obituary of Jordan Lee Heckford

Funeral services for Jordan Lee Heckford are scheduled for 3 PM Friday, September 3, 2021, at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Jordan was born September 13, 1988, and passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the age of thirty-two. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was known for keeping a fishing pole with him at all times just in case he had time to stop on the side of the road and fish for a minute. Jordan also had a love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Jordan is survived by his parents, Ernie Heckford and wife Karen, Paula Morrison and husband Tony; grandparents, James Cummins and wife Lana, Sonny Crow; children, Kerrigan Grace Tatum, River James Heckford; brother, Micah Heckford; fiancee, Raleigh Elizabeth Shehane; step-brothers, Jacob Morrison, Josh Morrison, Zach Nelson; uncle, Drew Randall Heckford; aunt, Della Heckford McGee; aunt and uncle, Monty and Penny Montcalm, Uncle Trecy Crow and wife Deb, aunt, Terri Crow; cousin, Zeb Montcalm and wife Carly; and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Myrna Cummins and Tootsie Crow. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan White, Carlos Hurtado, Caleb Harrell, Cole Wallace, Zeb Montcalm, Micah Heckford, and Cody King. Honorary pallbearers will be Zach Nelson and Caleb Wallace.
