A graveside celebration service for Mrs. Donna Whitehead will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Tim Post officiating.
Mrs. Whitehead, a waitress and a resident of Bastrop, passed away Thursday September 2, 2021. Mrs. Whitehead is preceded in death by her husband, LaVoss Whitehead; parents, Ray A. Davidson, Sr., and Helen Griffith Davidson; a brother, Ray Davidson Jr.; and four legged children, Penny Girl, Little Penny, Bailey, Nickel, Brownie and Sweet Tater.
Mrs. Whitehead was born July 31, 1956 in East Carroll Parish to Ray Davidson, Sr. And Helen Davidson. She was married to LaVoss Whitehead for sixteen years. She enjoyed volleyball, badmitten, listening to music, talking on the phone and reading. Mrs. Donna surrounded herself with close friends after the passing of Mr. LaVoss in 2010 whom she enjoyed being with. Her heart belonged to her four legged children whom she loved dearly.
Mrs. Whitehead is survived by special friends, Gwen and Willie Bailey, Jeff Ledford, Mary Goodson, Belinda Cummins, and Mr. And Mrs. Bill Bennett.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9 AM until 9:45 AM at Golden Funeral Home.
