Funeral services for Mr. Steve E. Hogan will be held 2 PM Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens.
Mr. Hogan passed away September 19, 2021 at the age of seventy-two. He grew up in Bastrop and loved his hometown. Mr. Hogan often enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sister, Juliet Marshall; brother, David Hogan; and numerous nieces and nephews, who all loved him dearly.
Mr. Hogan is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Van Hogan and Birdie Harris Hogan; siblings, Varris Evelynn Orr, Jake Hogan, Emmie Jean Hogan Ray and Judith Ann Hogan Hickman.
His nephews will serve as his pallbearers.
