Funeral services for Mrs. Billie Jo Honeycutt are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Tillou Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Honeycutt, a member of Harmony Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of fifty-six. She worked in law enforcement for the City of Monroe and Morehouse Parish. Mrs. Honeycutt loved her family, hunting and fishing with the grandchildren, horseback riding and talking and texting on her phone. She was selfless and always willing to help others. She is survived by her husband Joey Honeycutt; mother, Linda Skains; children, Chris Harris and wife Danielle, Ryan Harris and wife Kaycee, Chance Honeycutt, and Cole Honeycutt; siblings, Deano Skains and wife Dana, Junior Skains, Don Moore and wife Kandy, Joe Moore and wife Cindy, Johnny Moore, Rhonda Collins, Sharon Council, Mickey Burnamon, and Beverly Fife; grandchildren, Alyssa Cheek-Harris, Hunter Harris, Landynn Harris, Lane Harris, Sami Jo Harris, Kaylon Sanders, Raelyn Harris, Colt Harris, and MaeLeigh Honeycutt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Honeycutt is preceded in death by her father, Robert Earl Skains; and brother, Jimmy Lee Skains. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chris Harris, Ryan Harris, Chance Honeycutt, Cole Honeycutt, Ethan Craft, Johnny Moore, Joe Moore, and Don Moore. The honorary pallbearers will be Carter Craft, Deano Skains, David Grant, Zack Bradford, Casey Green, Troy Bryan, Aaron Powell, Coty Reynolds, Joey McGee, Adam Skains, Robby Goodwin, Brock Jenkins and Ethan Nelson. The family will receive friends Friday, September 24, 2021 from 5 PM - 7 PM at the church.
