Obituary of Lillie Faye Jones

Funeral services for Ms. Lillie Faye Jones are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, September 26, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Dusty Walker officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 PM - 2 PM Sunday at Goldens. Ms. Jones was born in Arkansas on March 8, 1943 and passed unexpectedly in her home on September 23, 2021 at the age of seventy-eight. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and being outdoors, especially tending to her flowers. Ms. Jones was an employee of Guide Plant and Tulane University Hospital for several years. She was loved by many and was one of a kind. Ms Jones is survived by her children, Steve Daigle and wife Danette, Randy Daigle and wife Stacey; daughter, Tara Daigle Smith and husband Justin; grandchildren, Cheyenne Daigle, Josh Daigle and wife Makenzie, Misty Dew and husband Sam, Logan Daigle and wife Kayla, Chad Daigle and wife Katrina, Damion Daigle and wife Autumn; brothers, James Jones, Basil Jones, Ethridge Jones, Mike Jones; sisters, Jean Woodruff and husband Cliff, Nellie Faye Anthony and husband Leanard; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Ethridge Jones; mother, Olivia Jones; brothers, Bruce Jones, Vernon Jones, and Edward Jones. She will be greatly missed.
