Funeral services for Mrs. Ronnie Woodson, age 66, of Bastrop, Louisiana are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2021 at New Life Church of God with Bro. Joey Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
Mrs. Woodson passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2021. She loved working with children in the school system. She had the heart of a servant and was know to have spent much of her own personal funds to make sure the children had money for lunch.
Mrs. Woodson is survived by her mother, Gloria Chapman; children, Duania Jones, BJ Woodson and wife Lauren, Josh Woodson and wife Ashlee; sisters, Ann Holland, Edith Hodom, Leitha Williamson; grandchildren, Tripp, Angie-Lynn, William, Christopher, Katie, Sylvia, Bailey, Hunter, Easton; great granddaughter, Addalynn and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Woodson; sisters, Leslie Hawkins, Sandra Barnett, Jennifer Brawley, Opal Holt and grandchildren, Angel Jones and Skyler Jones.
Serving as pallbearers are: Bruce Woodson, Jr., Bruce Woodson, III, William Woodson, Caleb Brown, Christopher Jones and Joshua Woodson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Jensma and Michael Quinn.
