Obituary of Warren "Steve" Jenkins

Funeral services for Mr. Warren “Steve” Jenkins are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Friday from 12 noon - 2 PM service time at Goldens. Mr. Jenkins, a retired safety manager at LARCO, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the age of sixty-seven. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a people person, and knew people every where he went. He also loved ranching, the rodeo, and bull riding. He was always a cowboy. He is survived by his wife, Sharon “Eileen” Jenkins; mother, Ruth Jenkins; children, Shawn Jenkins and wife Amanda of Mer Rouge, LA, Stevenie Jenkins of Slidell, LA, Tori Jenkins of Bastrop, LA, Blade Jenkins and wife Caitlin of Bossier City, LA; brother, Bruce Jenkins and wife Ann of Bastrop, LA; sister, Susan Musgrove and husband Tab of Sterlington, LA; half-sister, Sandra Linder and husband Larry of Crossett, AR; grandchildren, Ashton Beach and husband Cody, Andrew Jenkins and wife Bailey, Aliyah Blackwell and husband Jeremy, Dylan Terrell, Kinedy Jenkins, Naomi Martin, Madyson Jenkins, Claire Jenkins, Scarlett Martin, Olivia Jenkins, Sutton Jenkins, and Israel Martin; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Jenkins is preceded in death by his father, Brutus Jenkins; and nephew, Bryan Jenkins. Serving the family as pallbearers are Will Musgrove, Brandon Jenkins, John Hall, Dylan Terrell, Chris Salsbury, and Robert Calhoun. Dewayne Ginn will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
