Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Ann Mitcham Stewart are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mt. Union Baptist Church with Bro. Marcell McGee officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon - 2 PM service time at the church. The service is under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stewart, a resident of Spearsville, LA and member of Mt. Union Baptist Church, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at the age of eighty-one.
She is survived by her children, Christy Jones and husband Steve of Spearsville, LA, Marie Weaver of Kansas, Becky Allen of Spearsville, LA, Patty Callais and husband Kevin of Georgia, Lisa Broset and husband Carl of Alabama, William Stewart, Jr and wife Kitty of Spearsville, LA; sister, Sue Lynn Barnett of Haughton, LA and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband, William M. Stewart, Sr.; daughter, Carol Patrick; parents, Aden and Rosalie Mitcham; and siblings, A.J. Mitcham, Rayford Mitcham, and Rufus Mitcham.
Her family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
