Obituary of Connie Sue Holloway

Graveside services for Connie Sue Holloway are scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in Holloway Cemetery, Marion, LA, with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Mrs. Holloway, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the age of eighty-one. She was a loving, sweet, quiet, kind and caring mother who was a hard worker. Mrs. Holloway was very strong in her faith and loved the Lord dearly. She loved her mother and spoke of her often. Mrs. Holloway was a 1958 graduate of Fuller High School in Sweet Home, AR. She loved her brothers and sisters, and possessed a contagious laugh. She is survived by her husband, Russell Holloway; daughters, Christy Holloway, Crystal Bolin and husband Christopher, Carolyn Tedford and husband Richard; son, Charlie Williams and wife Jan; sisters, Ruth Box, Jean McKinney Gravett and husband John, Phyllis Loftis and husband Harry; brother, G.A. McKinney; grandchildren, Leslie Thomas, Justin Myrick, Temperance Bolin, Dakota Williams; great-grandchildren, Preston Williams, Anna Beth Davis and Evan Myrick. Mrs. Holloway is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Lillie McKinney; granddaughters, Savanna and Sierra Williams; siblings, Evelyn Beliew, Margaret Brown, Linda Parker, Donnie McKinney and Ronnie McKinney.
