Obituary of Allen Boatright

Funeral services for Mr. Allen Boatright are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Casey Johnson and Bro. Marty Black officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 PM - 3 PM service time at the church.
Mr. Boatright, a retired millwright and member of Bonita Road Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the age of seventy. He loved his family and was a devoted husband and provider. Mr. Boatright enjoyed working, and all things outdoors. He was a faithful follower of Jesus and served in many capacities at Bonita Road Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School and also served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Vicky Boatright; children, Jeff Boatright and wife Angie of Prosper, TX, Phillip Boatright and wife Jody of Bastrop, LA, and Mark Boatright and wife Lisa of Suwannee, GA; sister, Linda Mathis; brothers, Buddy Boatright and wife Denise, Tim Boatright and wife Connie; grandchildren, Cooper, Connor, Ainsley, Abby, Will, Brooke, and Peyton; and numerous nieces and nephews
Mr. Boatright is preceded in death by his father, W.C. Boatright, Jr., and mother, Lola Boatright.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Cooper Boatright, Connor Boatright, Will Boatright, Eric Wilkerson, Brian Boatright, Danny Boatright, Maclendon Sharp, and Ross Blackard.
