Mr. Brown, a member of New Life Church and resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the age of sixty-eight, after a long, determined, courageous battle with cancer. He truly was Superman. He retired from Northrup Grumman as a Maintenance Supervisor and was the Vice President of Water Works District #1. Mr. Brown was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching football (he was a lifetime Saints and LSU fan) and NASCAR. Mr. Brown was so proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could. Mr. Brown had many accomplishments but was most proud of his affiliation with the Masons. During his twenty-four years of service with the Masons, he served as a Past Master at St. Andrews Lodge #256, Mer Rouge, Delhi Lodge #120, Delhi, Tallulah Lodge #308, Tallulah, District 7 Lodge, and past District Deputy Grand Master of the 7th Masonic District. Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Sylvia Freeland and husband Jeff, Chuck Brown and wife Sherry, Craig Brown, Mark Brown, and Doug Brown and wife Stephanie; step-children, Joe Lebrun and wife Tasha, James Lebrun and wife Betty, Bimbo Lebrun and wife Rebekah, Loren Lebrun and wife Cassie, FiFi Wilson and husband Chris, Jonathan Rundel, and Becky Brown; sisters, Dell Butler and husband Henry, and Karen Nolan and husband Kenneth; brothers, David Brown and wife Laurie, and Timmy Brown; sister-in-law, Cathy Brown; thirty-nine grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
