Funeral services for Carol Thompson Lovell are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in the chapel of Golden funeral home, with Bro. Andy Myrick and Bro. Bill Fowler officiating. Private interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Lovell, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at the age of seventy-two. She was a retired teacher and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Lovell enjoyed reading books and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Marie Collins and husband Booger, and Mary Elizabeth Lovell; grandchildren, Emmalei Shyanne Collins, Charles Allen Morris, Kenzye Haiden-Paije Morris, and Tucker Lane Collins.
Mrs. Lovell is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Al Lovell, II; parents, Arthur and Sally Thompson; and four siblings.
