Obituary of Jerri Katherine Burnett Riles

Funeral services for Mrs. Jerri Katherine Burnett Riles are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, February 4, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post and Bro. Danny Merriweather officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens. Mrs. Riles passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the age of forty-six. She retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bastrop, LA. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and daughter, who loved with a special kind of love. Mrs. Riles was a person who was devoted to her children without reservation. She is survived by her husband, Keith Riles; parents, Linda Laing and husband Jerry; daughter, Haley Katherine Yarbrough and Haley Breann Yarbrough; sons, Brady Yarbrough and Natalie Farrar, and Gage Riles; and brother, Larry L. Burnett and wife Holly. Mrs. Riles is preceded in death by her father, Larry L. Burnett, Sr.; grandparents, Harmon and Janie Haley, and S.L. and Dorothy Burnett; and uncles, Harmon H. Haley and Jerry R. Haley. Serving as pallbearers will be Brady Yarbrough, Haley Yarbrough, Gage Riles, Haden Williams, Trey White, Larry Burnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Still and Darrin Patrick.
