Obituary of Neoma Elaine Ruff

Graveside funeral services for Neoma Elaine Ruff are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Kevin Sanders officiating. Mrs. Ruff, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at the age of seventy-five. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. She will forever be known as the best “Chicken & Dressing” maker around! Mrs. Ruff enjoyed quilting, gardening, and she also loved listening to her children playing guitar and singing. Mrs. Ruff is survived by her children, Terri Simpson and husband, Bill, Marvin Ray Borden, and Steve Borden and Diane Langlinais; sisters, Arline Pope and Dorothy Coronada; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bedford Doyle Ruff; parents, Neoma and Clarence Jones; and seven siblings.
