Funeral services for Sandra “Sandy” Anthony are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, February 5, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Gary “Juice” Guice officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM.
Mrs. Anthony, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the age of fifty-seven. She loved to walk and was known as a “Culinary Artist.” Mrs. Anthony enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, great-grandchildren, and her cat, Daisey.
She is survived by her husband, David Christopher Anthony; children, Michael Heyward and wife, Mallory, Krista Mier and husband, Brandon, and Haven Anthony; grandchildren, Wyatt Heyward, Stella Heyward, Brodie Barden, Eli Barden, and Emmy Barden; siblings, Danny Ray Bridges and wife, Sherri, Shelia Kay Metcalf and husband, Ronnie, Pamela Scott and husband, Darrell, Mary Katherine Kendrick and husband, Hurshel, and Kenneth Bridges; mother-in-law, Faye Anthony.
Mrs. Anthony is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Earlene Bridges.
