Funeral services for Jerry R. Lynn are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Laird and Sis. Clelie Stone officiating. The interment will follow in Causey Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Saturday, prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM.
Mr. Lynn, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at the age of seventy-eight. He loved classical music, playing the violin, and could play anything with strings. Mr. Lynn enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting and fishing. He also loved woodworking and making writing pens.
Mr. Lynn is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Lou Ann Lynn; children, Jerry “Buddy” Lynn, Jr. and Ed Lynn and wife, Sheila; grandchildren, Tiffany, Harley, Erica Lynn, Chelsie Setser, Robert Lynn, Taylor Lynn, Mallory Chavers, Catharine Thomas, Ritchie Smith, and Corbin McGhee; great-grandchild, Mason Griffis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William R. And Dorothy Lynn; son, Allen Christopher Lynn; and sister, Barrilynn Foulks.
