Obituary of Aaron Jacob Nhan Wood

Funeral services for Aaron Jacob Nhan Wood are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Monday, February 21, 2022, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens. Aaron Wood, a student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the age of twenty-three. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Teresa Anderson Wood; sisters, Lauren Wood Edmiston and husband, Dylan, Dana Ruffin, and Laurel Wood Stevens; brothers, David Marlatt and wife, Katie, and Kerrigan Wood; six nieces, four nephews, and a host of extended family. Aaron was loved by everyone who knew him. He possessed a unique ability to bring happiness and joy to any situation with just his smile. While hunting and cooking were his passions, his greatest attribute was to simply delver a dose of love to those with whom he came in contact. It's this love all of us will miss most. Aaron is preceded in death by his siblings, Christopher Marlatt, and Morgan and Meredith Wroten. Serving as pallbearers will be Nolan Whorten, Carson Millikin, Blake Ray, Richard Anderson IV, Christian Blaylock, Bailyn McKoin, Andrew Janes, and Panayiotis "Alex" Loizou.
