Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Bridges Harper are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Casey Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 AM - 2 PM service time at the church.
Mrs. Harper, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the age of ninety-one. Mary loved her church and her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Harper was a teacher for many years in Morehouse Parish, and retired at the age of seventy-two.
She is survived by her sons, Donnie Bridges and wife Romona, Ronnie Harper and wife Rosemary, and Kerry Harper and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Jeff Bridges and wife Melissa, Jeremy Bridges and wife Stephaney, Wendy Cheek, Brandy Williams, Wade Williams, Gabby Meredith and husband Jeff, Shyloh Murphy and husband James, Joseph Harper and wife Tabitha, Krystin Harper; and numerous great grandchildren.
Mrs. Harper is preceded in death by her husbands, Berry Bridges, Nolan Harper; and daughter, Diana Lynn Williams.
The Deacons of Bonita Road Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
