Obituary of William Allen Blackburn

William Allen Blackburn, age 55, a resident of Sterlington, LA and originally from Crossett, AR, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
Mr. Blackburn is survived by his son, Cody Allen Blackburn and wife Latoya Henderson Blackburn; step-daughter, Krystal B. Patrick; sister, Helen Blackburn Edwards and husband George; brothers, Joe Blackburn, Marty Blackburn; grandchildren, Claudia Brooke Patrick, Donovan Patrick; niece, Jennifer Craig Haen and husband; and nephew, Michael Blackburn.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Joe Blackburn; mother, Billie Jean Fish Blackburn; grandparents, Thomas F. And Mamie Blackburn and Veo and Bessie Fish; niece, Angie Craig and nephew, Erin Gene Craig.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Ochsner LSU Health – Monroe Medical Center, Dr. Pandy and Dr. Omari and the nurses for their care and compassion shown to Billy. Also Acadian personnel for the care given while transporting him. Last, but not least, Mr. Billy’s community in Sterlington for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.
