Memorial graveside funeral services for Gerry Bennett Coleman will be held 9 AM Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Carter Cemetery. Mrs. Coleman, a retired cook, passed away at her home in Sterlington, LA, on Monday, April 11, 2022, at the age of seventy-five. She is survived by her daughter, Patti Hickman; son, Timothy Brewster; sister, Frances Graham and husband Roy; brother, Jimmy Don Bennett and wife Jane; grandchildren, Micheal Waller, Casey Alfaro and husband Allan, Jennifer Hickman, Mary Haskins and husband Eric, and Richard Allen; great-grandchildren, Caleb Waller, Aiden Waller, James Lingefelt, Josh Waller, Gracie Waller, Leighton Navarro, Levi DeJohnette, Aaliyah Alfaro, Aaryana Alfaro, Kevin Alfaro, Kiren Brown, Caemma Haskins, and Ethan Haskins. Mrs. Coleman is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Bennett; mother, Fannie Mae Carey; daughter, Angelina Wall; sons, Christopher Brewster and Mark Allan “Bo” Hogan; sisters, Geneva Ingram, Margaret Ruth Busby, Wanda Sue Fatheree, Claudia May Bowlin, and Erma Yarbrough, Betty Welke; brothers, Elmer Lee Bennett and W.C. Bennett.
