Obituary of Aubrey Ray Robinson

Funeral services for Aubrey Ray Robinson are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, May 2, 2022, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, prior to the service, beginning at 12 PM. Mr. Robinson, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at the age of sixty-six. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He worked at Bastrop Glass for forty-eight years and truly loved his work family. Mr. Robinson enjoyed fishing, hunting, crossword puzzles and watching LSU with his best friend, Jack Wallace. He loved playing horseshoes and would play in tournaments at Stink Creek, many of which he won. He could always be picked out of a crowd because he was always whistling. Mr. Robinson is survived by his children, Rhiannan Robinson and fiancé, Jordan Hines, Collin Robinson and Ashleigh Sisk; grandchildren, Ava, Trystan, Willow, Lincoln, Jaxon, Bentleigh, and one granddaughter, Avrie, on the way; mother, Sybil Robinson; siblings, Belinda Hooton and Jeff, Chris Robinson and Emily, Shawn Robinson and Amanda; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Robinson; son, Adam Robinson; wife, Kathy Robinson; nephew, Josh Robinson; and best friend, Jack Wallace.
