Obituary of David Leon Blake

Graveside funeral services for Mr. David Leon Blake are scheduled for 2:30 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon - 2 PM at Goldens. Mr. Blake, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away April 28, 2022 at the age of sixty-four. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He worked for Acme glass and Mirror for over twenty-five years. He later started A1 Auto Glass with his son, Eaan. Mr. Blake enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling for his family, and spending time with his family. Somebody knew him everywhere he went. He is survived by his children, Jessica Hust, Kelsey Blake, and Eaan Blake; grandchildren, Marlee Blake, Allie Blake, Alyssa Trim, CodyBayless, and Christopher Bayless; siblings, Scott Blake (Misty), Karen Main (Michael), and Lisa Blake; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Blake is preceded in death by his son, Chris Blake; mother, Audrey Blake Bates; father, Gene Blake; and brothers, Ronald Blake, Gary Blake; and great nephew, Cody Cason.
