Memorial funeral services for Horace Lee Farrar are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating.
Mr. Farrar, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the age of seventy-nine. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and a retired truck driver and Agricultural pilot. Mr. Farrar enjoyed flying and loved anything to do with airplanes. He loved truck driving, doing Cross Country Trucking, and hauling timber. He also had a desire to continue driving until his health wouldn’t allow.
Mr. Farrar is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Janet Farrar; sons, Andy Farrar and wife Stacey of Bastrop, LA, and Thomas Farrar and wife Kayla of Bastrop, LA; brother, Jim Farrar and wife Martha of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Hope Farrar, Lynzie Farrar, Kolton Farrar, and Jacob Farrar; great-grandchildren, Natalie Farrar, Jax Farrar, and Kynzie Korjan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, W.W. and Gertie Farrar; son, David Farrar; grandson, Justice Farrar; and siblings, Fred Farrar, Lady Price, and Boots Farrar.
