I’m pretty sure a lot of you except for Jamie and Tres don’t even know what a powerful minister Steve was. They were family. He was my brother and she is still and will always be my sister. He was my Daddy’s son. When we left Bastrop, he and his family followed us to Texas and he was a replica of Daddy. One day I’m going to find the video of him preaching and send it to all of his children. No one had such an anointing of God. He got it from his Daddy, William John Stockstill.
They moved back to Louisiana and.my family was broken. If there was anyone he admired, it was my Daddy.
When he left Corpus Christi, he chose a different path. We are all human. But in the end you remember your roots. There are so many amazing memories that I will cherish forever. I wish for all of his family peace. I pray for today to be a celebration of you Daddy’s life. All of my love ❤️

Steve and I were like Brother and Sister. From the time that y'all came back from South Carolina we were best friends. For years I made all of your band performances, went on trips together, and had so many laughs. I can't believe how you left this world, it hurts more than I can say. I'll miss you forever until we meet again. I love you and I'll think of you often. My condolences to everyone involved.
