The celebration of the life of Michael Hall will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Epps Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by Brother Eddie Fuller, Brother Jay Morgan, and Walter Allen. Mr. Hall will be laid to rest at Faith Memorial Cemetery in Delhi, LA. Visitation will be held at his church on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mr. Hall was born on July 20, 1953 to E.D. Hall and Wilma Hall. He was the 10th of 15 children. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Mike was devoted to his parents, brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mike loved the Lord and was devoted to serving the Lord. He served as deacon in his church and was always available to help people in his church and community. For many years, Mike worked with his dad as a carpenter. He worked at the Delhi Hospital as a maintenance worker and at Epps High School as a maintenance worker. Mike served on the Epps Fire Department for 40 years. He served as Fire Chief for 25 years and served on the Fire Department Board. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, E.D. and Wilma Hall; his brothers, George Hall, Henry Hall, John Hall, Ernie Hall, and Ken Hall; sisters, Lillie Brewer, Wanda Hall, Sherry Rhoades, Doris Brewer, and Elizabeth Rippy. Mike is survived by brothers, Barry Hall and Edward Hall (Maggie) and sisters, Kay McMillan (Wayne) and Fay Hall. 1 Corinthians 7:32 states: “But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for things of the Lord - how he may please the Lord.” Mr. Hall lived this verse serving his family, members of his community, and those outside his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank Edward and Maggie Hall, Dr. Matthew Prine and staff and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Cornerstone Rehab Hospital for their loving care of Mike. Serving as pallbearers will be the volunteers of Ward One Fire Department in Epps, LA, Jessie Jones, Bryan Jones, Ty Warren, Shaun Swett, Jarrett Sims, Hershal Woodward and Justin Sims.
