Funeral services for Mr. Pat Coley, age 87, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday.
Mr. Coley, a retired employee of International Paper Company (Natchez, MS) and member of Green Acres Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Coley is survived by his son, Alton Duane Coley of Memphis, TN; daughter, Rebecca Coley of Vidalia, LA; sisters, Yvonne Chapman of Bastrop, LA, Margie Hillis of Bastrop, LA; brothers, James Coley and wife Sally of Bastrop, LA, Thurman Coley of Farmerville, LA; granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Cupit and husband Shawn and great granddaughter, Vega Cupit.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Coley; parents, Edgar and Lucy Coley; sisters, Eddress Grubbs, Hazel Nowlin, Wilma Fleming and Lucille Martin.
