Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gerry Cecile Fleming are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, August 6, 2022, in Christ Church Cemetery with Bro. Tim Post officiating.
Mrs. Fleming, a member of Harmony Baptist Church, met her Lord and Savior Thursday, August 2022 as she passed away peacefully at home at the age of seventy-eight. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a loving friend to all who knew her. Her life centered around her family, and she went to great lengths to make sure they knew of her love for them.
She is survived by her children, Craig Fleming and wife Bridget, and Ben White and wife Crystal; siblings, Mickey McLean and wife Gretchen, Sonny McLean and wife Lee, and Jim Jackson and wife Fair; grandchildren, Crystal Johns (Eric), Derek Fleming, Burgundy Popwell (Cameron), Christopher Popwell (Ainslea); great-grandchildren, Ethan, Mason, Makayla, and Kaylee Grace.
Mrs. Fleming is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Franklin “Frank” Fleming; parents, Joseph Buford and Martha Jane McLean; sons, Jason Fleming and Michael Fleming, and granddaughter, Vivian Webb.
