Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Faye Baker Anders are scheduled for 2:30 PM Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Twin Oaks Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will be held Sunday, from 1 PM - 2:30 PM at the church.
Mrs. Anders, a charter member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the age of eighty. She loved to square and line dance, living an adventurous life. Mrs. Anders has visited London, Paris, Holland, Swiss Alps, Germany, and Alaska. She especially loved her family, friends, and church family.
She is survived by her children, James Preston Anders and wife Kasey, Scott Anders and wife Denise; grandchildren, Taylor Ingram, Derek Anders, Lauren Fredricks and husband Brett, Josh Watts and wife Stephanie, Alyssa Malham and husband Travis, Misty Clifton and husband Cliff, Jamie Kelly, Russell Kelly, Justin Prichett and Chase Prichett; siblings, Johnny Baker and wife Mary Ann, Nadine Houston and husband Doug, Elaine Alexander and husband Arlen; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Mrs. Anders is preceded in death by her husband, Marion James Anders; daughter, Kathy Ingram; parents, Johnny and Marguerite Baker; and brother, Al Baker.
