Graveside funeral services for Kara Kay Henderson are scheduled for 4 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Phillip McCready officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to the service, from 2:30 - 3:30 PM at Goldens.
Kara was born on November 26, 1962, and passed from this life on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of fifty-nine. She loved bowling, listening to music, and watching TV. Kara is survived by her brother, Brad Henderson of Sterlington, LA; uncle, Kenneth Slomosky of Destin, FL; niece, Amelia Anderson; great-nieces, Maryn, Eva, Layla, Mariah, and Presley; great-nephew, Peyton; and numerous other cousins and family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Nell Henderson.
