Funeral services for Ms. Bessie Delores Davis, age 71, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. David Sistrunk officiating. Visitation will be held for 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at Goldens.
Ms. Davis, a retired CNA and member of North Bastrop Church of God passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022. She was an avid Elvis fan, loved shopping with her friends, listening to gospel music, taking care of children, and being with her family on holidays.
Ms. Davis is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Turnage; son, Robert West; sister, Ann Lowery and husband Charles; five grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Marie Carney; parents, Clarence and Ada Davis; sisters, Cathy Ellen Davis and Cynthia Courson.
