Obituary of Wanda Lynn Rainbolt

Funeral services for Wanda Lynn Rainbolt are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Harmony Baptist Church, with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 11, 2022, from 5 PM - 7 PM at the church. Mrs. Rainbolt, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at the age of sixty-six. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and loved cooking and caring for others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Rainbolt; her parents; and her brothers, Jimmy McKoin, H.M. McKoin, and Billy McKoin. Mrs. Rainbolt is survived by her daughters, Kendra McKoin, and Erika Blissett (Brandon); grandchildren, Austin McKoin (Lara), Joshua Howie, and Branson Blissett; sisters, Sherry Cook and Sue McKoin (Jay); step-sons, Doug Rainbolt and family, Todd Rainbolt and family, Brian Rainbolt and family, and Donnie Paxton and family; extended family, Mike Goyne, Kat Goyne, Heather Bolin, and Zach Goyne. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Florence, Mike Fife, Terry Tate, Will Lambert, Austin McKoin, and Joshua Howie. Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Larche and Don Hawkins, Sr. The family would like to recognize Mrs. Rainbolt’s workers of many years - Debbie Little and Tammy Crockett; her best friends, Mary Ann Parker, Jo Lynn Denton, and Kathleen Cupples. The family would also like to say thank you to her many clients for all the years of support and trusting her with your fur babies. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Walking in the Sun Rescue.
