Graveside funeral services for Mr. Ted Lowery are scheduled for 3 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Adrian Nelson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, prior to the service, from noon until 2:30 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Lowery passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022. He was a former member and deacon of Greenacres Baptist Church. He attended Holly Ridge High School and was a 43 year employee of International Paper Co. He was a loving husband, daddy and “Gran”, who loved fishing and raising miniature goats. He also loved gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Lowery; children, Lisa Lowery, Steve Lowery and wife Ashlee; grandchildren, Dawn Stanfield, Nicole Yelverton, Hope Antommaria, Christian Church and husband Seth, Joshua Bennett and wife Christian; great grandchildren, Haley Crowe and husband Chandler, Denver Antommaria, Jake Yelverton; great great grandchild, Ryder Crowe; sister, Ruth Outlaw.
Mr. Lowery is preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Kirsten Stanfield and Carter Antommaria.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
