Memorial services for Mr. Cody “Bear” Pennington are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, October 31, 2022, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Dusty Walker officiating.
Mr. Pennington, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the age of thirty-one. He loved attending First Assembly of God in Bastrop and also enjoyed watching wresting and football.
Mr. Pennington is survived by his parents, Denise and Ronnie Hales; grandmother, Pamela White; sisters, Victoria Smith and Kenneth Mitchell, II, and Amber Smith; brothers, Matthew Smith, Andrew Smith; uncles and aunts, Thomas White, Collice and Misty White, and James and Dee Dee Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dex White; great grandparents, Naomi Jean White and Collice White.
Serving as pallbearers will be Collice White, Ronnie Hales, Matthew Smith, Kenneth Mitchell, Jason Grubbs, and Thomas White.
