Bubba you were my best friend, you were my person, you were the person I called when I needed a shoulder to cry on or to get away from everything! You've been my best friend since I was 15. You moved in with me when I was scared to stay by myself. If it wasn't for you i wouldn't have my daughter, you introduced me to her dad. You was always there for me when I needed you. I love u so much and I'm gonna miss you like crazy! I will think about u everyday.

I remember the first time I saw bubba playing football in the side yard in Collinston. I had just moved in with my grandma down the road, and I road my bike through town. It was summer, and I saw the neighborhood kids out and I thought it would be nice to play too. That was a great summer. I remember many Sunday after church visits, New Year Eve get togethers, and graduations. I tried very hard to put Bastrop/Collinston in my rearview mirror, but thinking back now, those times are some of the things I miss most. Sometimes I wish we could go back and start anew, but it was not meant to be so. I hope that peace can be found for all.

I went to school with Bubba from elementary all the way to high school. I remember that he was the fastest runner in 4th grade, and he was always picked first for kickball because of it...
My heart goes out to his family and friends for their great loss. Sending love and prayers for the Church family.

Thank you for sharing this with the world. I lost my son to drugs 20 years ago he was 19 his name was Austin. There are some things in life that are too big and too much for us to bear. The burden of losing a child is one of them. So as a parent all we can do is lay that burden at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ. It took me many years to understand that, but I did and now I live a productive life walking each day with the Lord Jesus Christ. So, my prayer for every parent that's lost a child is give it all to the Lord. Look at what today brings and not the losses of our past. We will see Bubba again real soon. May God bless. Bubba, Man I'm going to miss you although you were my cousin by marriage you were my best friend like my brother, I'm going to miss you coming to my house and just walking inside "like every single day" not even knocking or calling..You knew this is one place that u could call home we had some good times always joking around laughing all the time... You always let your presence be known whenever you walked into a room....And I remember the last heart to heart talk that we had just not long ago us telling each other no matter what that we'll always have each other's backs and I know you'll always have mine and even now you're gone, I still know you'll still have my back...... Sail on across the sky Cuz and we will reunite one day!!!!!I love you, bro!!!
